The GowansterTM is an imaginary creature that lives in the Gowanus Canal, in Brooklyn, NY, USA.  The Gowanster was discovered by a 6 year-old boy, Jack, on a relaxing Sunday expedition along the banks of the Gowanus Canal with his parents and his kick scooter. 

Your Gowanster is whatever you want it to be, just like the Gowanus Canal itself.
